New York, USA: MGI Member, Graf Repetti & Co., LLP & Zeidman, Lackowitz, Prisand & Co., LLP announce merger

The Commercial and Tax Division of Zeidman, Lackowitz, Prisand & Co, LLP Certified Public Accountants with Ted B. Lackowitz, Steven Battino, George L. Klueg and K. Steven Wegert have merged their practice into the firm of Graf Repetti & Co, LLP Certified Public Accountants headquartered in Manhattan, New York. The merger furthers Graf Repetti’s reputation as one of Metro New York’s premier firms focused on serving the business and financial advisory needs of a diversified client base. Zeidman partners Ted Lackowitz, Steven Battino, George Klueg and Steven Wegert will continue practicing in their existing offices in Plainview as partners in Graf Repetti & Co., LLP.

"Adding the talent of the Zeidman partners and their terrific staff helps us to better serve our growing practice and particularly gives us a tremendous presence on Long Island and proximity to that very important segment of the New York metro business community. We are enthusiastic about continuing the high level of service and expertise the Zeidman partners have provided their tremendous client base,” said Peter Graf, CEO of Graf Repetti & Co., LLP.  “The Zeidman firm is well known and respected for excellent client service and a successful track record of practice growth and development. The partners are highly respected within the accounting profession in the New York metro area and we are proud to have them on our team”, said John Repetti, President of Graf Repetti & Co., LLP.

"While we are very proud of the more than 36 year history of our firm starting with its founding by the late David Zeidman in 1974, we also recognize that the next step for our team and clients is to merge with a firm of comparable quality that would enable us to expand services to our local, regional, and national clients", said Ted Lackowitz, Managing Partner of Zeidman, Lackowitz, Prisand & Co., LLP.  " Graf Repetti shares our philosophy of  helping our clients grow and succeed, and the merger will  broaden and deepen our existing industry specializations, enabling us to offer more comprehensive business advice tailored to our clients."
