Erik Emilsson, MGI Board Member

Erik Emilsson has practised as an Authorized Public Accountant in Sweden since 1994. He is also the Managing Director and founder of MGI Revideco AB. MGI Revideco AB, a Swedish six-partner audit firm, with offices in Stockholm, Jonkoping and Skelleftea.

Erik specializes in working with entrepreneurs, both with audit and tax consulting. He has also been auditor for some small stock-market companies in Sweden. He has a piano in his office.

Besides this Erik works with education and insurance issues for FAR SRS, the institute for the accountancy profession in Sweden. Before starting MGI Revideco he was at PWC for five years, and before that he worked in the family business - everything from welding, machine construction to finance. He also worked as a touring musician, playing drums in a pop band.

Erik is really proud of his family, his wife Karin and their four kids Daniel, Ida, Sven and Karl. Because of his large family he feels that it is extremely important not to work in the office more than 35-40 hours a week, and likes construction work, conducting choirs, cooking food, recording music in his studio, snowboarding and playing different games with his family when his not in the office.
